Earth Day: Kelp Forest Mapping & Protection (SCGIS-SD Chapter)

Hello SCGIS-SD Members! 

We’re excited to announce that SCGIS-SD will be participating in the Earth Day event, “Party for the Planet”, held at the Birch Aquarium this Saturday and Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm (it is open to all ages). Join us to learn more about how we use maps to understand our changing kelp forests and how these tools can inform action to protect these important habitats.
