|
| Dear SCGIS Listserv, We are so excited to see those of you attending next month’s conference! Here is some information that will help you prepare for the event. For those of you who can’t be there (though it’s not too late to register!), we do plan to livestream our keynote sessions, panel discussion, and membership meeting (more info coming soon). If you are already registered for the conference, you may receive this email twice. We apologize for any duplication! Jocelyn Tutak President, Society for Conservation GIS |

| | Check out the draft agenda on our website! During the conference, we use the Whova app (Apple & Android ) for communication and updating the live agenda. We will be launching the Whova event soon and will alert attendees when it goes live. For those of you presenting, please review the agenda to see when your session is scheduled and confirm that the details are correct. Email conferenc...@scgis.org with any questions, and keep an eye on your email for more detailed information about presenting. |

| | Our beloved silent and live auction returns on Thursday, July 9th! This exciting event raises funds for our Global Scholarship Program and was a highlight of our pre-pandemic conferences.
Please consider donating items for the auction! Past auctions have featured unique and culturally-rich items, donated by attendees, from around the world. Consider bringing something from your own travels or home region, handmade creations, professional services, or classes. If possible, please submit your donation ahead of time. Items will be accepted up to the day of the auction. |

|
| | The map gallery reception will be held on Wednesday, July 8th. There is no need to pre-register and there are no size limitations. We accept physical and digital maps, but you will need to provide your own laptop or screen for digital entries. |

Beginners are welcome, and participants need only to bring a non-phone camera with manual setting capabilities. Learn more and sign up here. Image credit: Charles Convis.
