Dear Sir/ Madam

Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child (SPARC) is
launching its annual report “The State of Pakistan’s Children 2008” on
May, 27 2009. Islamabad Hotel, (Old Holiday Inn) Islamabad from 3:30
p.m to 6.00 p.m.

SPARC is one of the only civil society organizations in Pakistan
specializing in advocacy on child rights, supported by awareness
raising, research, capacity building and service delivery since 1992.

The report aims to give a clear idea on prevailing state of child
rights in the country and covers vital issues such as Health,
Education, Child Labor, Juvenile Justice, Violence and Situation of
children in Disasters like IDPs and Role of Media.

SPARC strongly feels that media plays a vital role in shaping public
opinion and looks forward to media’s cooperation in voicing their
concerns on violation of child rights at all levels. We would like the
media to join hands with in promoting and protecting the rights of
vulnerable children.

and a photographer and help SPARC in giving children of Pakistan a
fair chance to a healthy and fulfilled life.
