Pixhawk help needed

Hello SATX-ATX UAV fliers!

I have been using a 3DR Pixhawk on a Quadcopter for about 3-months now and am ready to put one in a fixed-wing plane. (my quad had a motor lock up and it fell out of the sky).  Does anybody near Austin or S.A. have a lot of Pixhawk experience?  I live between the two cities, so getting to the advise will be easy.

I would also welcome suggestions and what To-Do and what Not-To-Do as well.

If you are thinking of replying with suggestions for other flight controllers, please don't.  I don't feel like learning another product.
