I could really use someone's help!

So, I've got a quad from 3DR. I've been trying to find a chance to get out and fly it a bit, but only recently had a chance this last weekend, for the first time. Had it all hooked up.... and...... nothing. The props twitched, that's about it. I'm brand new at this, and could really use someone's hands-on expertise on how to get this thing off the ground.

I really wouldn't even know the first thing to do with my ArduQuad, in terms of troubleshooting. Reddit's done nothing for me, in terms of searching for suggestions on what to look for. Would there be anyone who might be willing to help me out, in person?

I dont do much with quads but there are a bunch of guys on that site that do but they are in austin.

Did you set the RC limits in MP? Did you arm it?  Sorry I know basic questions but must eliminate the easy topics first?  If you care to come down to SAT one weekend I would be happy to take a look…
