Hi guys, just decided to join this group, because I really need some like-minded drone friends who live nearby. I've just gotten a quadcopter (via 3D Robotics) with an APM2 platform, and am really excited about the possibilities of the UAV. Unfortunately, I'm completely new to all of this: I've never flown RC aircraft of any type, and frankly, I'm incredibly intimidated by all of it. I'm in the San Marcos/Kyle/Buda area, and would greatly appreciate it if someone would be willing to help guide me through my stuff. I think (not totally certain) the company shipped the quad with the Tx already linked, but the thing freaks out every time I turn it on. No idea what's up with that.

So yeah.... I make noobs look experienced.
