Hi everyone,

I know it's a little outside of archives to ask this question, but I figured enough of us work with special collections to ask.

Does anyone have a book repairer in SA that they recommend? It doesn't have to be a formal company; it can be a librarian who may do work on the side.

I prefer in SA but will also take things to Austin if that's the best choice.

Thanks!

Dear Sara -   Great question.  I am looking hard for a rare book conservator anywhere in Texas.

The one I had in Austin retired.

If you find one, please let me know.

Many Thanks,

Tom Kreneck

Hello Sara,

You can reach out to Nicole Leconte who is in San Antonio. She works with books and paper. She has done several book conservation projects for us on our older sacramental registers.
