On Tuesday, November 13-th Kennedy Center is going to have a lecture
by Aren M. Maeir, an Israeli archaeologist, a Chairman of Department
of Archaeology and Land of Israel Studies, Bar Ilan University, Tel
Aviv, Israel. He is an influential figure in Bible Archaeology.
The lecture will be at 4:00pm in HBLL Auditorium.
ALSO, don't forget about the Symposium on Apocryphal and
Pseudepigraphical Literature, which is going to be on Friday, December
7 at 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, in 3211 and 3223 WSC.
FINALLY, there is a call for PAPERS from Studia Antiqua - A Student
Journal for the Study of the Ancient World. This is a good chance for
you to get published, which would look very good on your resume. ;)
The deadline is Monday, January 22, 2008. Even though the deadline is
not very soon, it gives you some time to SART THINKING ON YOUR TOPIC.
If you are interested in any of those options, please make sure not to
