Anzac Towing Weekend

We will fly at Locksley for 4 days starting Anzac day, 25/4, through to Sunday 28/4/24. This will allow interstate visitors to make the trip comfortably and stay for the fun!
We will have tugs available for aerotowing during this time. Come and practice your towing or do an aerotow endorsement.
We will also have our famous scooter towing system available for take off and landing practice.
Everyone is welcome but please get in contact prior so I can keep you updated regarding weather and our flying program.
Camping is available at the airfield for $20/night. We also have some gliders for hire if needed.

Just an update on our 4 days of flying at Locksley in Victoria from Anzac day till Sunday 28/4.
The weather looks pretty good at this time. We will not of course have epic thermal conditions
however we will have excellent training conditions for skills building. Come and practice your
aerotowing and ground towing!!!!
The tentative flying program so far:
Thursday 25/4:
Arrive after lunch and aerotow in the afternoon/evening.
Friday 26/4:
Scooter tow/landing practice in the morning. Aerotowing for the rest of the day.
Saturday 27/4:
Scooter tow/Car ground towing/landing practice all day.
Aerotowing between 12 and 3.
Sunday 28/4:
Aerotowing all day. Probably no scooter or ground towing.
Remember camping is available at the airfield and we have a number of people traveling from
interstate as well as locals staying over. Any questions please get in touch, Peter.
