HG SSO

Hi all HG pilot-members,

I recently posted on the SAHPGA Members group about the new Committee - which included this:-

"the HG SSO role – although this isn’t a Committee position, we require this role to be filled so that we can advance pilot skills/ ratings etc.  If there are any HG SO’s who would be willing to take on this important role, please let us know -  on sahpg...@gmail.com .  Currently, our only remaining HG SSO is Harrison R - who lives in the country & has been busy building a house, starting a family etc - but we are also seeking a 2nd HG SSO - to cover coastal sites & exams etc in the metro area - where most of our members live."  

BTW, to be a HG SSO requires an Advanced HG rating and “a minimum of four years of active operating experience as a Safety Officer;” and “have participated in the conduct of an approved SAFA or Club workshop for Safety Officers, within the last 24 months;”.

So it there's any members who meet these requirements and would be interested in this role, please let us know by Monday (25/9) morning on sahpga.exec at gmail.com
