I have a cable and am able to program radios. Message me if you want to arrange to have your radio cloned.
I will have the cable and a laptop at Haz Pk this weekend but we might be racing to get into the sky.

Hi steve, is it possible for you to plot some waypoints of the area so we can load it up from your laptop?

I have a stack of waypoints for the area of towns and stuff that I can load onto anything that works with GPS dump if needed.

Thanks Steve, I'll bring everyone's radio I've already collected, ( 4 ) it will save me taking them to Birchip. pk.

It would be good for everyone to be prepared before the day. It is not hard to use GPS dump. Pebo has already put up some points. I will combine them with mine and repost.

This is how the channels are set up. 80 channels then the HGFA channels. HGFA appears on screen for the open (non TS) channel
Decide what opening name you want on your radio. eg:

I have found some dos based cloning software for ic40'sbut none of my pc's will run it. All win 7 64. The cable should be OK.

if you are running windows  7 pro,   enterprise or ultimate - you may have more luck with  the virtual XP emulator  : -

So u have win 7 or it needs win 7. I have 7. I will get dad to take my radio and try it if u have a chance I'll be working the weekend.
Been try to get a chance to catch up to check out ur rc auto pilot gear, I'm going to start working on mounting a action cam to mine, think I will have to move battery back to compensate.

It needs DOS to run the very old program and I do not want to muck around with it right now. The ic41's only take seconds to program. I would have to not only get the program running but set up a configuration file. The old radios will not run the 80 channels.
I would like to get together sometime and do some UAV. I might just bring down a little MQX quad to fly in the shed this weekend.
The Gopro or any other camera sits in the cockpit easily. You can balance it out with moving battery, elevator trim or taping weight on the tail. The Bixler is not too critical (though CASA might want to ground you :)

Hey Steve, what's the name of the program? I'll mess with an emulator and see if I can get something working for the weekend. That is, if it's not too much work once it's up and running.
