We are delighted to announce that the 6th Global Food Security Conference will be held at Wageningen University & Research in April 2027.
The conference theme—“Zero hunger and resilient food systems in an uncertain world”—will resonate with many in the AgMIP community.
This conference will bring together diverse perspectives to explore the challenges and solutions shaping food and nutrition security through a multidimensional, systems lens. Key themes include resilience, sustainability, and agency across food systems.
We welcome participants working across agriculture, fisheries, nutrition, value chains, policy, and food system transitions.
Alongside advancing inter- and transdisciplinary science, the conference will provide a platform to engage with current controversies, trade-offs, and power dynamics influencing global food systems. We strongly encourage participation from both early-career and established researchers and practitioners, as well as voices from across sectors and regions.
