John
my commitment to Windycrest will make it impossible for us to go to Lake Stockton on the 19th and 20th of September. We have the MC Nationals, and I am to help with that. But we could make it to Tsalagee on Fort Gibson and Maybe we can get the Kansas boats to come down there if we Attend the Lake Perry Commodores Cup on the 5th and 6th of September. Lake Perry is in Eastern Kansas up the Kansas Turnpike for you all in OKC. Let me hear what you think.

Santana 20s

During discussions with Britt Williams concerning ways to increase the
participation and competition of Santana 20s in our area we came up with the
idea of trying to meet at different locations to race. Maybe we could
schedule a couple regattas each year in at different lakes. Britt suggested
we try to meet at the Governors' Cup at the Lake Stockton Yacht Club
September 18, 19, and 20th.

Lake Stockton is North West of Joplin MO and Britt says they put on a great
regatta. This is just an idea for a place to start but it's up to you guys,
it sounds interesting but we need to know your thoughts.

If there is any interest in doing this we need to locate and get email
addresses for the other Santana 20 sailors in our area; Texas, Oklahoma,
Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas. The more the merrier.

I'm looking forward to your comments.
