Bob's blue boat and Fayest had a 1-2 and a 2-1 giving Bob,Bill and Dendra the tie-breaker at the end of the first day. Sunday saw a little better wind, and Fayest got an advantage on the start and never looked back. The second race saw building winds and a change to Jib, If B3 wins this one we still have a tie and they win the tie breaker. Both B3 and Fayest were over early and after restarting, wound up on opposite sides of the course. Supernatural was first to the weather mark with B3 second by a foot and Fast in third position and Tomorrow on our heals. We were able to climb up close to B3 and jibe away, covering their air and pulled away by 30 yards. A down wind finish saw B3 catching a gust and closing the 30 yard gap, we tried to defend but were forced to jibe to clear our air and beat Bob by a foot, Supernatural first. Bill bond showed signs of extreme anxiety as his knuckles and muscles in his face flexed and turned white. The third race of the day saw building winds and we were able to get a good start and put a loose cover on for a windward finish and the over all win. B3 finished second, with Tomorrow third and Supernatural forth. Banks sails gave us great boat speed and Flint and Mitch were able to give us great crew work that resulted in a win. OCBC did an outstanding job running the event.
