Wonder the e-book you were referring to is the scan copy of material the teacher provided in the class? Otherwise, if its the text book, mind sharing it here?
 
Hope you found the CCNA command handbook to be useful and helpful.
 
Also, you were given Manager role. Feel free to play around. How can we introduce this tool to class.
