Book: Born to Run races - w people from the book!

I am sure many of you are familiar with the book: Born To Run, A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen, by Christopher McDougall.

If not, suggest you buy it today......a great read! (rumor has it, it's being made into a major motion picture!)

One of the characters in the book and good friend of mine Luis Escobar (El Coyote in the book) is launching the Born To Run races this May!!

Luis is a very accomplished ultrarunner, race director (Santa Barbara 9 Trails 35, now SB Red Rock 40) and excellent professional photographer.

I have run his races for the past 5 yrs., he is quite a character in true life and knows how to put on a race.

It will be held May15th in the on the beautiful Chamberlin Ranch in Los Olivos California, an amazing place to run!!

There will be three races & before you click along and decide nah not me......this is a great time to check out trail running, see some of the best runners ever, and experience up close and personal what ultra running is all about!

There is a 10 MILE RUN ALSO!!

Sounds very cool. Will get the book. However, May 15th is the new date for Pasadena Marathon, isn't it?
