The Ownerz Clan is restarting again with the help of my cousin but I'm
doing things a bit differently this time.

1. The forums are our own, we're not using those crappy invisionFree
ones (not bad, but certainly not good either).

2. This time round the clan is not only a RuneScape clan but also a
World of Warcraft one because I've started playing WoW (here come the
insults, lol). I don't mind WoW as a game and actually, I do find it
enjoyable but I still play RS on occasion.

3. I actually want this clan to be more of a community then a "clan"
as some people may know them as. Of course we'll still go on clan
events (in RuneScape's case, most will be F2P as Clan Wars is free-2-
play and it's easier than trying to go to pay-2-play mini-games) but
I'd rather people be more socially interactive on the forum (and in-
game) then worry about minor details like events and whether they can
come.

I define a clan as being a group of people, whether large or small,
that are fans of whatever game(s) the clan may be for. Take RuneScape
World for example, it isn't a clan per se, but it is a group of people
in which most of you play RuneScape. You don't need to host events to
be a social clan and have fun, it just adds to such details.

Tell me what you all think. The site can be found at www.randomtastic.com
(temporary domain) and feel free to comment or complain about it.
Whichever you want.

Josh,

First the page can`t be found.
Secondly, thats good your having a proper site, php?
I would get a more relevant domain ;)

I got a proper domain but I'm changing webhosts soon because my current one only allowed payments through PayPal, which is a major inconvenience to me, therefore I'm looking for one which allows direct payment through credit cards -- if anyone knows of a good one, please let me know.

All my sites are down until this is worked out. It's a pain but I hope it won't be too long before they're back up.

I heard 1&1 does, and many dedicated server providers only accept
direct CC or bank transfers

Interesting, my problem with 1&1 is I've read many bad reviews about them and I don't want to become one of those bad reviewers. I'm willing to try them but I'm not going to be expecting anything of them. Wouldn't for anything else, mind you.

No, I don`t like 1 & 1. I signed a contract for a years hosting and
really regret that.
Well until your site gets big, I could host you.

Depends what you offer. I prefer my own hosting because I have more control over it (well okay, complete control lol). I could do that with The Ownerz but I couldn't do it with Glitches Exposed because it actually does get a number of visitors every month (sure, it gets shit all compared to other sites but it gets people, which is why this is a major inconvenience to me). The Debating Arena eh, well nobody posts there anyways...

I didn't mean to, and didn't think I had removed it so I don't know
why it has gone, maybe becase it was a reply to it, google auto
deleted? I have no idea why your post has gone vader.

It was me who deleted his post about the whole "fuck off" thing.

1. Because it didn't belong in this topic.
2. I didn't realise how screwed up GG has become when it starts allowing subject changes.
3. Because of the above reason I thought the topic was a completely different topic and didn't realise it was mine until after I deleted Vadar's post (I was originally trying to remove a spam topic).
