Yesterday I went to a yearly traditions work shop. I encountered the
area rep who about 3 months ago got ugly with me when we were
discussing the facts about Conference approved literature and what
that meant. . The strange part about it was that in essence we were
saying the same thing using the same information. There is conference
approved literature what it means in A.A. is different than what it
means in in Alonon. I cited the GSO official policy.The rep was very
belligerent and said she would never look at Rum Radio.org I asked if
this was not contempt prior to investigation. I removed my self from
the conversation and did not think a thing of it since.I went to give
her a business card with rumradio on it she said do you renumber me
and recalled or last encounter ,I winced and braced for the coming
onslaught. To my surprise she said she aid she was glad to see me and
offered me an apology. I immediately accepted and asked her for an
amend to check out RumRadio.org and if you see value to please pass it
on. she said that she would be delighted and thanked me for my
attendance. Tom K was the presenter ,during the feed bag break I
approached him and told him that we did not have ant Tradition on the
rumradio website would he consider a post . He paused and said
someone gave him a card several months ago at spring branch I said I
am Me ,he said that he had seen the sight and was really impressed it
was well thought out and organized. He apologized for initial
skepticism he said there were a lot of less than program attemptd he
said he would check the Traditions to see if he could post but
encouraged me to the good work .What was the the 6:30 meeting topic?
