With something for all ages and stages, MM lives up to its billing of being like the all-day social clubs in Cuba.  "Malecon" comes from the famous Havana sea front; and Salsa Celtica's song was about ours, El Portobello Malecon. 

Our monthly Malecon Matinee celebrates the beautiful more traditional contra tiempo Son and Salsa. Variety includes Los Van Van, Cuban Ceilidh, Rueda, ordinary Salsa - plus our new "2 minute classes" for Merengue and Bachata too.   Learn: Beginners and Improvers classes before or at start. Cuban Ceilidh for all. On the side teaching for beginners available during MM.   

Entry: £5 entry includes drinks. All proceeds saved for future MM things. Children welcome, under 14 free.  

Where: Instead of Buena Vista we've got Beach Lane Social Club behind Portobello Police Station on the High Street.  Park on or off the High Street. Lots of buses. For maps, go to:  http://tinyurl.com/2yhxll.
