A new version of R/qtl (1.46-2) has been released at its website (http://rqtl.org) and will be on CRAN in the next day or two.
There is a small bug fix related to parallel MQM permutations, plus a change related to an upcoming change in R 4.0 (to be released in April), in which the default for stringsAsFactors will be changed from TRUE to FALSE.
