I am trying to install Rpad on a debian server for a local usage. As
the link to the deb file is broken (
http://rpad.googlecode.com/svn-history/r76/downloads/rpad_1.3.0_all.deb
), I made an install from the file .tar.gz on available on the cran
server.
1) Install rpad library : R CMD INSTALL Rpad_1.3.0.tar.gz
2) untar the package file and go in inst/serverversion
3) run : sudo ./installRpadWWW.sh
4) cd Statistics-R_perl_interface and compile. During the 'make test'
the following errors occurs : "Can't locate object method
"startRShared" via package "Statistics::Rpad" at test.pl line 21."

Anyway, I point my browser on http://servername//Rpad/Example1.Rpad
and click on "calculate". It works but no graphs appeared. The graphs
exist in the directory 'server/ddXXXXXX' but, the balise <IMG> of the
web page is empty.

Does anyone have an idea ?

Thank you for reading,

David

The Rpad server is still alive; the ip addresses just got goofed. Try:

http://144.58.243.47/Rpad/

You could try the deb version there.

If you're getting the png files greated, you're pretty close. If you're
running R 2.10, you may be running into the problem identified here
(it's a pretty simple fix):
