Hi Vincent,
I hope that you had a good summer!

I have used GGIR 2.0 on a small sample of files with the aim to reduce data only with parts 1 and 2.

Question 1:
I am specifying a number of valid hours as ≥ 10 for a waking hours protocol.
However, I have a subject with N Valid hours ≥ 10 for at least one valid day for whom I have missing data for day windows defined in qwindows and specifically variables defined based on thresholds as ilevels.
One reason could be related to complete_24hrcycle being less than 1 for that subject. However, I am not sure why the values would not be computed for a person level summary?
Would you be able to clarify?
I included the output for this individual along with my GGIR syntax.

Question 2: Does the length of qwindow have to be at least 2x value specified in M5L5res or at least 3 x this value? I have a qwindow of 1 hour and M5L5res = 0.5 and receive no values for that window.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Dominika

Hi Dominika

Question 1:
You defined argument includedaycrit twice in your call to g.shell.GGIR, and the second time you set it to 16. Make sure either of the two settings is removed.

Question 2:
GGIR performs the MX analysis per qwindow if the window length is larger than C in the following formula:
A = number of epochs per minute
B = minimum value in winhr object
C = A * 60 * min(B) * 1.2
