Thanksgiving

What is everyones' plans for Turkey day? What are you most thankful for this year? What food are you most looking forward to gobbling down?

My answers to these questions are:

 

We are having a friend over for dinner, as her husband is currently deployed. That will be fun. What am I most thankful for? It is hard to narrow it down to just one thing, but really, I am most thankful for the health and safety of my family through this year. My dad had to have open heart suregery in February, and is doing well. It was a scary time because he's a kidney patient, and so his odds were really low. But God pulled him through again. Also, we walk a dangerous road everyday to school with the kids, and so we have been kept safe everyday from crazy drivers, praise God!

 

What food am I looking forward to? Well, pie of course. Tis my favorite! Apple pie, blueberry pie, cherry pie, even pumpkin pie.... Mmmmm.... pie.
