I assume this means that the Yahoo e-mail discussion group has ended.
Am I correct?

Gary:

I've just posted a note in alt.books.ghost-fiction which invites
everyone to join this new group. It also says that if this new Robert
Aickman Google group proves more popular than the Yahoo one, I will
(with everyone's permission of course), copy the Yahoo archives over
here into Google.

So at this stage it hasn't replaced the Yahoo group, but it probably
will. In the longer term, I think that Google will establish itself as
a far more important internet resource Yahoo. It is far easier for
everybody to use and each user can delete his own posts with ease.

I've also set up a new group called "Weird Fiction" which is based upon
ghost-fiction but has a wider remit. I am extremely keen to get away
from silly personal squabbles and hopefully Weird Fiction can provide a
fresh opportunity for that.

Also an M R James one with the same intentions:

PS. I think you should switch to listing your website address as
http://gothicpress.com rather than www.gothicpress.com to ensure it
shows up as a link. CB
