Reminder: RCC Congregational Meeting and Blessing of the Animals

Hi All,

'Just a reminder, in addition to our Sunday Service at 10 AM, we have two important activities this Sunday, May 4:

 

1.  Annual Congregation Meeting.  This meeting will start at 11:30 AM in Shields Hall, refreshments will be available.  The most pressing agenda item is the election of new officers, boards and committees.  Members please attend and vote, Friends please feel free to join and watch this aspect of congregationalism in action. 

 

2.  Blessing of the Animals.  This favorite service will be held at 3 PM on the lawn outside Shields Hall (in Shields Hall if it rains).  Each pet should be on a leash or in a cage or carrier.  Following the service, there will be blessing certificates and treats for pets and refreshments for thier families.  All are welcome.  All proceeeded will be donated to R.O.A.R. (Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue).
