Dear Friends,
"THE WORLD OF THE GENEROUS GETS LARGER AND LARGER." By now you’ve
all seen our 2008 Stewardship slogan. I like to think of it as typical of our Church. We ARE getting larger and we ARE getting more generous.
To quote Luke 6: 38 - "The measure you give will be the measure you get back.." We can given in many ways. As Christians, we practice stewardship by sharing our God-given time, talents, and treasures as an act of thanks to God for all His gifts to us. After all, where would our "little white church on the corner" be without the loyalty, kindness, friendship. generosity and deep spiritual commitment of our members and friends?
Thanks to those of you who have responded to the campaign so far. I appreciate hearing from you.
Won’t you join us after the church service on November 16th for the Stewardship Brunch in Shields Hall? . One and all are welcome and encouraged to come and celebrate our commitment to the future of Ridgebury Church. (If you’d like to bring something, there is a sign up sheet in Shields Hall.)
