Easter Services at Ridgebury Congregational Church

Hi and Happy Easter,

Please let me take this moment to update you on this week's Easter Services at Ridgebury Congregational Church:

Today: March 20, is Maundy Thursday.  There is a Worship Service in the Meetinghouse at 7 pm.   

Friday, March 21, is Good Friday.  The Meetinghouse will be open from 11 am to 5 pm for prayer and quiet reflection.  There is an ecumenical service at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, 351 Main Street, Ridgefield (phone: 203-438-3789) from noon to 3 pm.  You can come and go as you wish to either.     

Saturday, March 22, is Holy Saturday.  The 5 pm Worship Service will be conducted and Cameron Shevlin will be baptized.  Also, it will be the first Easter service of the weekend.  This follows the ancient Jewish tradition in which the evening before is the beginning of the Sabbath.   

Sunday, March 23, is Easter Sunday.  Worship Services will be held at 9 am and 11 am; at the 11 am service we will welcome new members.  Fellowship hour will be between the services (10 am to 11 am).
