Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master with strong knowledge of SAFe practices to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, and exposure to the insurance domain. The candidate should also be capable of articulating project value, business impact, and criticality, along with demonstrating structured thinking using STAR-based behavioral approaches.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Guide teams in adopting and implementing SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles.
  • Act as a servant leader to remove impediments and ensure smooth sprint execution.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Track and report key Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and team performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity within the team.
  • Ensure transparency and effective communication across all levels.
  • Support teams in delivering business value aligned with organizational goals.
 Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe Certification (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master - SSM).
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to clearly explain project details including:
    • Business value
    • Criticality
    • Outcomes and impact
  • Good knowledge of STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) methodology for structured communication and behavioural interviews.
  • Experience in handling multiple teams or distributed teams is a plus.
 Domain Experience
  • Exposure to the Insurance domain (Policy, Claims, Underwriting, etc.) is highly preferred.
 Preferred Qualities
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to coach teams and drive Agile best practices.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
