Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Insurance (P&C) / Financial Services

Client: Mphasis / AIG
Location: Jersey City (Onsite)

Note: Need only local consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance or Financial Services. The ideal candidate will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring successful delivery aligned with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple workstreams in insurance or financial services domains

· Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder communication

· Collaborate with business, technology, and vendor teams to drive execution

· Ensure adherence to Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid methodologies

· Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies proactively

· Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting

· Drive process improvements and best practices in project management

· Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams for seamless delivery

Required Qualifications

· 10+ years of Project Management experience

· Strong domain expertise in P&C Insurance or Financial Services

· Proven track record of delivering large-scale, enterprise projects

· Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams

· Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

· Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, MS Project, Confluence

· Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in insurance/finance

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working with clients like AIG or similar Tier-1 insurers

· PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications

· Exposure to digital transformation, core insurance systems, or claims/policy platforms
