Reverse Space 6PM to 10PM 2-12-2013 – Build, Create, Collaborate.

We have changed the weekly meeting to this Tuesday due to the holiday.

New tech! Join a 3D printer group to build the Rostock Max delta arm 3D printer.

This week at Reverse Space we will be using a 3D printer kit to assemble a 3D printer called the Rostock Max. This kit was bought from the crowdfunding site www.Indiegogo.com. The design for a delta arm 3D printer was inspired by Johann Rocholl whom was born in Rostock Germany and has a degree from Stuttgart University. More information on Johann Rocholl can be found on the wiki below. Delta arm 3D printers are exciting to watch items print and is a great change from the common x and y axis 3D printers.

If anyone would like to build their own Rockstock delta arm 3D printer, Reverse Space would be happy to help. We have all of the parts needed to build your own 3D printer in stock. The cost of building your own 3D printer should be less than $450 in parts with a build volume almost twice that of the MakerBot 3D printers. Members here have been designing and building their own 3D printers for almost a year now. All of the required knowledge to build a 3D printer is available and free at Reverse Space.
