Reverse Space – Build, Create, Collaborate. “Stick-N-Find” Bluetooth locator on display this week.

This week at Reverse Space we have new tech at the space called the “Stick-N-Find- Bluetooth Powered ultra small Location Stickers.” The was a very successful croudfunding project on the website www.indiegogo.com bringing in more than $931,000 in campaign donations to produce this technology. We plan to place stick-N-find on several item at the Makerspace that tend to get misplaced such as the digital calibers. The software has a radar to locate an item, an option to have the item beep, and an option to leash yourself to an item. The Leash option will beep if you walk too far from your item such as your cell phone.
We will also be designing and 3D printing a keychain for the stick-N-Find. Come to our Makerspace meeting and try them out. If we have extra, will be selling them at the space profit free. We were able to buy them for $15 each using the Indiegogo campaign vs $25 they are currently selling at for two on their website.

We have locked storage space, hundred of tools and electronics, and the largest sections of free to use 3D printers for any Makerspace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hackerspace) on the east coast of the US. At this time membership is free.

3D - “PrintRbot LC” - This 3D printer needs to be calibrated and test prints done.
3D - “RepRap” - This also needs to be calibrated and test prints done.
CNC - “ShapeOko CNC” New stepper motor controls are now here and need to be installed.
3D - “B9Creator” Getting a working print and settings with our DLP light 3D printer.
Drone - “Flight of the 3D printed quad copter drone” The drone needs to fly.
Help Needed - Organization and building of the Makerspace. Help is always appreciated but not required.
Community Help - Other members who may need help on their projects.
