Reverse Space 6PM to 11PM 4-4-2013 – Build, Create, Collaborate.

This week we will be working on the calibration and printing of a RepRap Prusa 3D printer made by Lulzbot. We intend to sell the printer to pay for the upcoming court costs with Hurricane Lasers for not sending us our refund check for almost half a year now.

The addition of a heat extraction fan and other upgrades should help improve the sale of the 3D printer on Ebay. Software used by the Prusa is used by most of the community made 3D printers. We will try to get a print quality as close as possible to the MakerBot 3D printer.

Our Makerspace also works on the common projects below. Anyone who comes to our space can work on any of the space's projects with free help from the staff. It is also possible to have our Makerspace fund your project if it is something that can benefit the space and global Makerspace community. To date we have received more than $50,000 in funding funding for projects and equipment for Reverse Space.

If you have any projects you are working on, feel free to bring it to Reverse Space! We have locked storage space, hundred of tools and electronics, and the largest sections of free to use 3D printers for any Makerspace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hackerspace) on the east coast of the US. At this time membership is free.

NextEngine 3D Laser Scanner – Learning to get a perfect scan. Almost there.

3D - “Rostock Delta Arm 3D printer” The kit needs to be completed.

3D - “Ultimaker 3D printer” - 3/3/12 Ready for advanced printing.

CNC - “ShapeOko CNC” New stepper motor controls are now here and need to be installed.

3D - “B9Creator” Getting a working print and settings with our DLP light 3D printer.

Drone - “Flight of the 3D printed quad copter drone” The drone needs to fly.

Tech Craft - “Brother Innovis 4500D” Installation of design software and more complex printing.

Help Needed - Organization and building of the Makerspace. Help is always appreciated but not required.

Community Help - Other members who may need help on their projects.
