Delivers consulting project activities, ranging from problem identification through final project close-out through medium to long term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture assessment, application and/or network security assessment, security vulnerability testing, penetration testing, application security testing, client interaction, solution deployment and cost/schedule monitoring.

Requirements

Education:	BachelorÕs degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
Experience:	Five to eight years direct related work experience
Required Skills:	8 or more years of technical experience required, including at least 5 years in security services. Strong analytical skills required Must have direct experience in performing network and/or application security assessments including: Network or Application Vulnerability Assessments Network Penetration Tests Application Security Assessments Network or Application Architecture Assessments Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to: Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals Document procedures that conform to a prescribed style and format Present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Preferred Skills:	Previous Professional Services consulting experience Industry certification such as CCIE, CCNA, CISSP, CCSE, MCSE, CICA, CISM desirable Federal clearance is a preferred

Essential Functions

1. Identify and assess customer information technology infrastructure regarding risks and vulnerabilities.
2. Ability to perform network penetration testing using a combination of commercial and open source tools
3. Significant technical and operational knowledge of:

1. Firewalls
2. Network intrusion detection/prevention devices
3. Security assessment, diagnostics, forensic tools
4. Web access controls
5. Advanced authentication methods
6. System Management tools and procedures
7. Enterprise security programs

1. Be able to perform:

1. Network or Application Vulnerability Assessments
2. Network or Application Penetration Tests
3. Network or Application Security Architecture Assessments

Responsibilities and Additional Duties

1. Work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor and as lead for engagement team when appropriate
2. Manage technical contribution of matrix team(s) of security consultants and engineers toward successful project completion.
