Our Makerspace is week will be working on the common projects below. Anyone who comes to our space can work on any of the space's projects with free help from the staff. It is also possible to have our Makerspace fund your project if it is something that can benefit the space and global Makerspace community. To date we have received more than $50,000 in funding funding for projects and equipment for Reverse Space.

 

If you have any projects you are working on, feel free to bring it to Reverse Space! We have locked storage space, hundred of tools and electronics, and the largest sections of free to use 3D printers for any Makerspace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hackerspace) on the east coast of the US. At this time membership is free.

As the main organizer of meetings at Reverse Space, I would like to apologize for the last minute cancellation of the meeting last week. My 88 year old family member disappeared from the senior center. She was found and everything is fine now. I did not have the time to give the keys to a backup person to open the space.

Anyone who planned to attended the meeting last week is welcome to have $20 in PLA or ABS to be printed using our Makerspace's 3D printers. The $20 in free supplies will expire in thirty days from this week's meeting. The $20 in free supplies also applies to our craft supplies to be used on our machines.

Other projects we are working:

3D - “Rostock Delta Arm 3D printer” The kit needs to be completed.

3D - “Ultimaker 3D printer” We currently are trying to get the best print possibles.

CNC - “ShapeOko CNC” New stepper motor controls are now here and need to be installed.

3D - “B9Creator” Getting a working print and settings with our DLP light 3D printer.

Drone - “Flight of the 3D printed quad copter drone” The drone needs to fly.

Tech Craft - “Brother Innovis 4500D” Installation of design software and more complex printing.

Help Needed - Organization and building of the Makerspace. Help is always appreciated but not required.

Community Help - Other members who may need help on their projects.
