It was quite refreshing when they gave me the nasal cannula before my
tooth extraction. I tried the CPAP mask on myself in class and it
wasn't as bad as they say, then again I only had it on for a few
minutes. Anyways I think 100% O2 would be refreshing for a minute. Why
not have O2 stations at the hospital so if you get a bit tired you can
take a whiff? And what about those scam oxygen bars that are actually
just air. Anyone knows O2 is regulated as a drug by the FDA, but I've
never seen a doctor write an actual prescription for a hospital
patient. They are just put on Oxygen protocol. Has anyone heard those
rumors that O2 is pumped into certain buildings?

One of our instructors is so against Oxygen Bars because he says you
could be a CO2 retainer and not know it.... therefore you would be
wiffin' some O2 and, all of a sudden, pass out because you're drive to
breath is opposite.

It's not 100% O2 though, it's just 21% or "AIR". Technically you are
getting O2 but you might as well be breathing through a straw. Here in
the US O2 is an FDA regulated DRUG. So those bars are a scam.

Well I think here they actually use 100% O2 at those bars .... but I
could be wrong. Oxygen is considered a drug here too, but I'm not sure
about the whole regulation about those O2 bars and stuff.
