Here's a link that you can add yourself (including a picture if you
will) to the map. This is really cool, I picked up the idea from
another forum I'm a member of (Living with COPD).

Add yourself!!!

And to add to that you are quite the modest one. No matter how you
rustle your beautiful hair or not wear makeup you're face is so damn
cute! (commence stomach butterflies stat!) Hey Shelley what do you
think about my pulmicort thread? This could be interesting as of course
most COPDers have cardiac problems, too. By the way you can call me
Paul. I am in Chicago so the cold weather is made even worse by
constant windy conditions from the lake. That's why we are so tough:
"the windy city"/ "city of broad shoulders". It reflects in are
hard-nosed defense and tough football team( sorry, I am a huge Bears
fan! LOL!) However living in Canada you are definitively not in a
better situation LOL. You just get used to it I guess, huh? So how hot
does it get in the summer?

Lol, well thanks Paul but I'll still argue. The pulmicort thread was
quite interesting do you have the link for the full article?? We had to
read a whole bunch articles for one of our classes. It would be
interesting to see some of the statistics and how the study was
conducted and such. It seem like quite a stretch, like you said maybe
it's because the control group didn't receive a steroid or increased
WOB straining on the heart. Maybe I'll try to track down the article.
Chicago hey, sounds fun, I hate wind. LOL. Yeah here it gets to like
-30C with the windchill sometimes worse but we often get chinooks
coming off the moutains from the west (which are really nice) but it's
really dry here because we're at a high altitude (3440 feet) which gets
straining on the body (we get a lot of chinook-related migrains). The
days in winter are so short. Hey, at least we have the Calgary Stampede
(heard of it?). We're really close to the rockies which is beautiful
some hospitals here you can see the beautiful ridge off in the distance
beak-away from the day. In the summer here it gets pretty hot (about
+28C). So we don't complain.

This is what I copy and pasted from the URL. I am not as computer savvy
as my brother so I don't know how to do it the "direct" way.

What the heck is a "chinook"?

A chinook is a warm, dry wind that comes down the eastern slopes of the
Rocky Mountains. It can take our temperature from -30C to almost
+degree temperatures overnight. For instance, last week (or maybe the
week before that, I can't remember! :o) we had around +15C weather,
then this week we're around the -15C mark. Trying to dress "weather
appropriate" in Calgary is almost impossible, so we do a lot of
layering! Having moved from British Columbia to take this program I
find it frustrating at times!

So this guy Abdullah from Saudi Arabia got on the FRAPPR. If you are
listening dude I'm interested in what it's like in respiratory there
and just how life is like in general there. Looks like this group is
starting to slowly come alive.

Yessssss! Are you originally from Vancouver? They have some of the best
coffee shops in B.C.! Vancouver is totally radical and I want to visit
there someday! Did I just sound like a teenage mutant ninja turtle?

Actually I'm from a city about 4 hours east of Vancouver called
Kelowna. Vancouver is a very beautiful city. I was there in the summer
and we had a great time. It has awesome shopping, excellent little
coffee shops and some of the best dining around. Stanley Park is also
really cool, it's Vancouvers equivilant to New Yorks Central Park.
Miles and miles of bike paths, an aquarium, and other cool stuff to
see. It's a really cool place to visit. I'd like to do some more
traveling down in the US as well.
