Dear All,
Firstly I apologise if this email is somewhat unsolicited. Many of you
I am contacting for the first time, though I intend to speak, email,
or meet with you in person soon, I simply haven't had the time to
contact you individually but will do so over the coming days.
I am involved in the recently launched nation debt audit campaign
(http://www.debtireland.org/) which aims to find out the scale and
nature of the debt Ireland owes. My role in this is to help organise a
visualisation of the data this report will unearth, so that people who
are not financially literate or are simply jaded from all the talk of
the economic woes can have a one stop shop where they can quick see
and asses the nature of Ireland's debt problem.
The attached is the first draft of the open call proposal I intend to
send out to artists, designers, programmers etc.I would be very keen
to hear back from all of you as to what you make of it. The time
constraints on this project are quite strenuous so I would sincerely
appreciate hearing back as soon as possible, as my aim is to send out
the final draft of this call out next week.
Thank you for your time and again apologies if this email is
unexpected/unsolicoted.
Sincerely:
Seanán Kerr
PS Please feel free to forward this onto to anyone else you think may
have thoughts or input on it.
