Actions for w/c Jan 17th

After meeting with Kevin today here is this weeks action plan. If you feel we missed out on anything let us know. Its going to be a busy week!

1. We went through all of the post its, feedback forms, plenary feedback and flip charts produced over the 2 days. Each was photographed with the outputs to appear on our Flickr channel throughout this week. If you have any photos you would like added to the channel then email them to Kevin for upload. 
2. One thing we both felt would help new Reset participants was the creation of an intro to Open Govt and Open Data in plain english video. Kevin is going to talk with Tom and Mark about how best this might be done. 
3. We agreed an approach to start building the platform discussed Sunday. This will knit together the best ideas we find regardless of source and without attribution but logged to create a draft call to action for an alternative Ireland. This will be completed this week and posted for discussion and input next week. 
4. Niall very kindly offered to ask about getting free use of a Dublin city centre venue for our next Open Space event which will be held in Dublin. He has a meeting tomorrow with the venue owner so will update this discussion once we get feedback. Ideally this event will happen before the end of Jan.
5. We will sit down with Ina this week to have a look at the platform she developed and spoke about at our water bottle session.
6. The Water Project discussed will be part of the upcoming Galway Hackathon.
   
7. Code for Ireland modelled on Code for America was discussed and we felt its best to leave this until after the election. Having looked at how they got started in the US a summer launch is on the cards.

Thanks for the offer Vincent. Will take you up on it once the script is ready. Now that we know the general election is happening March 11th or sooner its time to regroup and agree what we are realistically able to achieve over the next 7 weeks. Kevin and I are sitting down tomorrow at 4pm in 091 Labs so if anyone would like to join us feel free to come along.
