just like the new GI Bill, I cant even begin to use the money until august 2009, if that is even the initiation date. right now as I go to law school and incur huge student loans, and guess what, even though I am eligible right now for the new GI Bill, based on my active duty performed as a reservist in Iraq and Afghanistan, the loans I incur now will not be paid back because I am accumulating them before ....... you got it....  August 2009. No retroactive payments.................................   ERick
