FARCE, and a slap in the face of us reservists who have deployed to several hot spots and combat actions sonce, the first gulf war, this is a disgrace. if they were going to credit active duty, why not just credit the active duty time a reservist has already done regardoless of period, and deduct that from the age 60 criteria??????????????

just like the new GI Bill, I cant even begin to use the money until august 2009, if that is even the initiation date. right now as I go to law school and incur huge student loans, and guess what, even though I am eligible right now for the new GI Bill, based on my active duty performed as a reservist in Iraq and Afghanistan, the loans I incur now will not be paid back because I am accumulating them before ....... you got it....  August 2009. No retroactive payments.................................
