I agree...no one cares about us. When I was 55 I thought there might be a chance. Now I turn 60 this year, to late. It is all about numbers. We put our life on the line, but that was then; this is now. There is not a lot happening for the thousands  of reserve/guard  service members now either. They get a pittance for what they have to give up to serve their country. None of us joined to get a "big reward", but it would be nice to be remembered for what we all did in the day.
 
Life may not be the party we had hoped for, but while we are here, we might as well dance.

Just suppose, when "we" turn to age 60, will that retirement paycheck still be
there, despite the economic upheval, and AIG getting a big bailout money, will
"our hard earned money" due us, be there, when we turn to age 60. Good question!
