Anyone can be 'a man of peace' as long as you can pick
and choose from the words that are attributed to him and don't soberly
examine
the impact of his life from a historical perspective. I pick and
choose words that
convey the true spirit of christianity. That spirit is represented in
things like the inquisition, the crusades and the holocaust (hitler
said that he was inspired by
martin luther, who presided over the persecution of a number of jews in
his time).

>From that perspective, we have to conclude that the following quotes
were meant to be taken very literally (that is, if we want to be
intellectually honest);

Matthew 10:34-36 (New American Standard Bible)
34"(A)Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not
come to bring peace, but a sword.
35"For I came to (B)SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER
AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW;
36and (C)A MAN'S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD.

Luke 14:26 (New American Standard Bible)
26"(A)If anyone comes to me, and does not [a]hate his own father and
mother and
wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life,
he cannot be
my disciple.

Luke 22:35-36 (New American Standard Bible)
35And He said to them, "(A)When I sent you out without money belt and
bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?" They said, "No,
nothing."
36And He said to them, "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it
along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his
coat and buy one.

Now please don't try the argument, "Oh that was so long ago, people are
bound
to mislead themselves." The Buddha (a true man of peace) spoke
hundreds of
years earlier and chose to use words that wouldn't incite inquisition,
crusade
and genocide. Maybe that is the difference between a true master and
an 'also-ran'?

Oh' yes.

Jesus Christ indeed needs to be admired.

For only fools will not do so just for who or what he is or stands for.

Fools with not admire him for they also think they are of importance or
equal in any respect to which in fact is mirrage.

I admire him for in this world there is no peace other than that of
Jesus or that He says he will provide in the long run, if and only if
we seek to follow him and that is the ADMIRATION of JESUS.

To follow your example, I can say that "fools" do not admire the Buddha

"for they also think they are of importance or equal in any respect to
which

in fact is mirrage." It is easy to use words like "fools" however such
words
do not advance your argument. If you are interested in truth rather
than just making proclamations which make you feel good, try to
attack the argument (it will also help if you visit the links).

some people who I DO believe are
of more importance than Yeshua
of Nazareth because they devoted their
lives to setting people free, not trapping
them in frightful dogma:

A fool in this context dose no imply judgement or side taking here.

A FOOL in this resect referes to those who knows not and yet think they
know more that it is.

And that is the MIRAGE here, in their eyes the see but in actual fact
its non in existance, that is with reference to the TRUTH in this
respect.

Thank u for you acknowledgment and contribution.
