Fundraising Resolution for GA from Region V

Good Afternoon Region V Members,

As of 1300 today I have yet to hear back from any college on the draft resolution as supported by our Region. Does anyone have any input? I am prepared to call a special meeting Thursday but we are going to be in the same position as we were at the last meeting without any new drafts/revisions… Let me know your thoughts or send me your drafts to consolidate. At this time I will go ahead and post the agenda and call the special meeting but I ask that you give me some feedback.

Also, we are one college short of quorum at the General Assembly – so far I have Bakersfield, Columbia, Modesto, Porterville, and San Joaquin Delta as either registered or telling me that they will be in attendance…. However, we are in danger of not meeting quorum as the California Community College system as a whole – we need a simple majority (half plus one) for quorum out of the 110 California Community Colleges and at this point we are many colleges short…..
