So the folks at Conjunctured have graciously allowed us to use their
space on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, starting this coming
Wednesday, February 11th at 7:30 pm.
I know this is really short notice for our first meetup, but it can be
more introductory to feel out what libraries people are using, who is
willing to give a talk, and/or how the meetups will evolve...
It appears there is someone giving a talk the day before on jQuery at
the Refresh Meetup, but I'd be willing to talk about my preferred
library for a bit if we end up sitting there in silence...
If anyone has any suggestions for this meeting or any/all meetings
going forward, feel free to contact me.

Count me in! I've been bringing jQuery around to employers for almost
two years now, but rarely meet other developers who are using *any*
javascript framework.

I'll be doing an intro presentation to jQuery on Tuesday and I'll be
glad to remind people of the meetup group as well. Unfortunately, I
won't be available for the first meeting but will try to make it to
subsequent ones. Given that this is a Javascript library group, I'm
excited to learn about other libraries as well.
Jon.

I cant seem to find this group on meetup... whats the name? Also, is
this open to noobs? Ive been all front end and have recently been
trying to get more into the jquery library and could use all the help
and insight I can get.

Thanks for setting this up. I plan to be there (and at the jQuery
presentation by Jon tonight.) I have used javascript for many years,
but I have never quite mastered it as it has always been something
that I use only on an occasional basis. My recent javascript work has
entailed adding jQuery plugins into client websites.
I look forward to meeting some js experts in case I have need of same
for a future project.

Wow this is great news that people on short notice will be attending!
I've drafted a presentation on how to create a gracefully degrading
jQuery tabs plugin. I really don't know what to expect as far as
skill levels are concerned, but am confident to be able to talk abou
jQuery's fundamentals on the fly or do some sort of Q&A. However,
this is group participation so anyone can and is encourage to chime in
as well!
As far as finding this on meetup.com, you won't. I tried to add a
JavaScript Libraries meetup group and was unsuccessful. Maybe another
crack at it when I have some time...
Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow (and tonight, if you're
going to the Refresh Meetup)!
