Thanks, Nikos, Dave and Tiffany for your kind words.

Nikos, you translated the song much better than me! The only thing I
was wondering is the habbit we have to translate certain words with
their parallel English words. For example, κούκλα μου, is almost
always translated as my doll, though I would propose my babe, my
sweetheart. The same concerning the noun φονιάς. Shall we translate it
as murderer, or as they really meant, heartless or something
similar...?

Kostas, I agree 100 % that the easy manner of translating "via
dictionary" is wrong. Definitely, κούκλα μου is Babe, sweetheart. I
do not share your approach to φονιάς, though. In the song we both
treated, I would dare see the use of the word as poor Greek, in an
attempt to cope with the verse rules. In the song Φονιάς θα γίνω, μα
δεν σ' αφήνω, I would rather see the classical murdering function, in
a literal way of course. In the song Μπορώ να γίνω και φονιάς I think
the meaning of murderer is definitely present, too. But of course,
there are no rules in such approaches.
