greetings friends,

would anyone explain that what giouroukiko zeibekiko really is and what are the differences between this and just an ordinary zeibekiko?

The figures in daily life of late 1800's and early 1900's can be found in music as a rhythmic structure rather than melodic structure. These are;

zeybeks = zeibekiko
yörüks = yiouroukiko
abdals = aptaliko
devecis (kamilieris) = kamilieriko

Ali Fuat, do you mean that the Turkish Zeybek dances family includes the rhythmic structures you give, with the corresponding namings?  Could you please give us the written notations of these structures?

hello from Athens,

"Giouroukika zeibekika" are a specific genre of zeibekiko.

What we know from Keromitis and Genitsaris is that they come from the tradition of/were played by the "Youroukides".

What we understand from the few musical examples we have is that:

The rebetes inherited the tunes, just the music, and they use to add lyrics, traditional or improvised.

These melodies were played on douzenia tunings, in specific mondes (kiourdi, ussak, hitzaz, segiah) and are based on aksak 9/8 measure, or combined with 7/8 aksak.
