Landscaping at front gate

Hello Guys- I just want to give you quick update on front side of gate land-escaping.

Over several weeks, I have contacted to some homeowners and I tried with a few cheapest option keeping in the mind but we have found one company color burst from Fieldstone ( FS is very active these days after our last call, do business or dont do business model).

Just give you overview if some of you dont know about budgeted criteria for landscaping, we have yearly $2400 reserved for 2 season each with $1200 (spring/summer and fall) for flowering etc. only at front gate and inside. Many of you already knew from our HOA meetings.

So I met with color burst people and visited their website, catalog etc. and it looks pretty promising and we should at least try with someone who is well known in for doing this and not from north georgia.

Issues:

1) we dont have sprinkler head in call box area and infront of ravens ridge sign where we have small flower beds. 

Solutions:

1) I have proposed extend sprinkler head options which will throw water in call box area and ravens ridge bottom area (at 3-4 am). This wont cost more than $100 but this is permanent solutions going forward.

Finally we BOD decided that we should go with color burst and try. It is our under budget of $1200. It will give full coverage of call box area, left, right and middle of gate and ravens ridge sign area. Since inside area is pretty huge, we will come up with those area for permanent solutions so that we dont' have to make expenses for those area every year.

Work will begin in next 2-3 weeks and hopefully it is going to be best in stony point rd.

We will have our HOA meeting soon in June and Suresh will inform you. So please keep looking when work is done at gate and provide your input when we will have HOA meetings.

Note: Broken gate is fixed now and we got full reimbursement from truck company and it had several issues and all got fixed.
