strongly disagree.  don't feel like sitting on ESPN all day.  Also, waiver order should be reset every week with worst record first on waiver order.

just a thought regarding waivers, not sure how this would work for the NFL, but we could have no waiver time but limit the number of acquisitions per week.  So in practice, you could only add/drop a total of 3 or 4 players per week.  This might be difficult due to bye weeks, injuries, etc...  Another option is to contribute $1 for every transaction you make....

How about this auction rule:

Instead of claims being awarded to the team with the worst record, we're moving to the free agent auction format whereby each owner is given $100 make believe dollars. On Tuesdays when the waiver wire opens, owners submit bids for players they want to pick up. Whoever submits the highest bid gets the player. Beginning wednesday morning, all remaining free agents not picked up in the Tuesday round are open for pick-up on a first-come first-serve basis.

We are doing it in another league this year. I like it.
