This is to update you about a meeting held on 23rd Dec 2012 at Star City Mall, Mayur Vihar at 11:00 AM called by Mr Atin/ Mr Neeraj & few others.
In the meeting following points were discussed
The letter received by all of us has three components in it. Principal Outstanding + Service Tax + Interest
1. Principal Outstanding: If this amount is zero, than the cause of worry is little less as whatever interest has been accrued is frozen now till possession whether you pay it now or at the time of possession. If the amount is not zero than pay this amount on immediate basis.
2. Service Tax: About Service Tax, Mr Ankur Gupta Suggested, that one can check about his/ her exact Service Tax amount & counter the Paramount staff only if that is found to be incorrect. The basis of checking is 3% of the Flat cost (Your Booking amount * Your Flat Size * 3%) is to be considered for Service Tax Calculation. This is to multiplied by 12.36% to arrive on your service tax payable. This is the total amount to be paid. Subtract all the service tax paid till now to arrive on the net amount payable.
3. Interest: The interest ledger can be collected from paramount office. We can cross check the interest ledger from the booking form & agreement form dates. The same can be done from the demand letters received. Based on the demand letters received if the payments were delayed than one can sit with Paramount staff to arrive on final payable amount which can be paid at the time of possession or can be paid now.
4. Need of Group/ Platform Creation: As Mr Neeraj suggested that Flat Buyer’s Association can be created before possession also, it was arrived at a conclusion that if possible than Mr Ankur Gupta will look about the same. For the same Mr Neeraj has to share the Government Circular on the same.
5. Next Meeting: It was also decided that on 30th Dec 2012 (Sunday) or 6th Jan 2013 (Sunday) based on people’s wish, we all again meet up at the Site Office of Paramount at Sector 137 to check the progress of the project & to request to visit from inside after taking all safety measures.
