We have been full-timing fo about 10 years. We spent summers here in
Idaho and winters in CA & AZ. Over the years we have done camp hosting,
volunteer at Wildlife Refuges, The Nature Conservancy and Salton Sea
State Park in CA. We tavel with a cat, Kato. We are Thousand Trails
members and stay in their parks at times.
Fort Running Bear, ID is a Coast To Coast , RPI, Outdoor Adventure
,etc. It is located 30 miles east of Mountain Home onHwy 20. Elevation
is 5,300 ft and at the edge of Idaho's Wilderness areas. The park
overlooks Little Camas Resevoir. We are birders and see a around 16
species daily. Also, deer, antelope and elk can be seen. It has been a
cold and rainy spring and the native plants are just starting to bloom.
