The Rural Research and Development Training Center

Non-profit association (NPA) set up in Lao PDR under the umbrella of the Lao Union of Science and Engineering Associations (LUSEA).

 

RRDTC’s objective is to offer a holistic approach to capacity building on community development for Lao people - citizens, Lao staff of Lao and international organizations, and government partners in districts and provinces. The center is staffed by Lao professionals.

Translator English-Lao-English

Education:	Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience:	·       Translating Lao documents into English and vice versa ·       Excellence academic background and Prior experience as Lao/English teacher or translator
Personal Qualities and Requirements of the position:	·       Strong oral and written communication skills in both Lao and English   ·       Assist the training unit for curriculum development ·       Assist the training unit update training report as Lao to English version ·       Assist update /writing proposal in English ·       Honesty and strong references on personal integrity, moral character and self-motivation ·       Willingness to work beyond normal work hours ·       Belief in the benefits of participatory approaches and inclusive management. ·       Assist the coordination, relationship with clients/donors
Other:	Must be able to travel to provinces outside of Vientiane on a regular basis.

Nationality:	Lao National (Women and ethnic minorities are encouraged to apply.)
Personal skills for  position:	Motivation for self improvement, shows respect, honest person, excellence English, computer and IT skills
